New River Medical Center earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval by demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission’s national standards for healthcare quality and safety.
The Joint Commission conducted a two-day unannounced, on-site evaluation of New River Medical Center in June. Surveyors audited the delivery of care, interviewed staff and inspected the physical environment to evaluate the quality and safety of care provided. By successfully completing the survey process, New River Medical Center earned the Gold Seal of Approval and Joint Commission accreditation for three years. The Gold Seal of Approval recognizes New River Medical Center’s dedication to complying with the Joint Commission’s state-of-the-art standards on a continuous basis.
