New River Medical Center will be suspending all obstetrical services including deliveries, c-sections and nursery care effective May 25, 2012. This decision was made due to a significant decline in patient volumes and the availability of qualified nurses to staff the unit.  Learn more

Troy Ivey, DO, General Surgeon, joined New River Medical Center to provide full-time surgical coverage for our community. Dr.Ivey is a Board Certified General Surgeon with 18 years of general surgery experience.
 
Dr. Ivey performs general surgical procedures at New River Medical Center including hernia repair, gallbladder removal, appendectomies, upper and lower endoscopy, breast surgery, bowel resections and laparoscopic exams. Learn more about Dr. Ivey and local general surgery care here.
