When Derek Wipper needed stitches, he knew where to turn for hard working emergency care.  Derek, Parks Foreman for the City of Monticello, was working in Ellison Park when a piece of equipment broke and hit him in the face.  With blood running in and out of his mouth, he headed to the Emergency Department at New River Medical Center.  Derek was quickly seen by an Emergency Medicine physician and received quality medical care right here in our community.
